If you want full-on energetic, abrasive metal band that have a vibe and style that incorporates the old school brashness of Metallica, the slickness of The Red Hot Chilli Peppers crossed with the deep 'n' throbbing zestiness of Tool then look no further than 10,000 Views.
They've gone from strength to strength in a very short space of time and very recently played alongside the likes of Skid Row, Quiet Riot and Great White at The Legends of Rock open-air concert in Cape Coral, Florida, literally blowing the entire festival crowd away - leaving them screaming for more. In fact some of these mere mortals had witnessed them for the 1st time ever, leaving an incredibly positive and satisfied impression that will no doubt stick with them forever.
Stet Howland drum solo... AWESOME!
Their debut album is set for a Summer release that can be highlighted with outstanding songs such as 'Lust'; 'I Want' and 'Pain' that will be a real milestone in metal for sure. Witness their impressive gutsy slice of avalanching power at a venue near you soon. Call it a cliche, but I gotta say, no-one will be dissapointed by the sound and presence of 10,000 Views.

Michael Allman Son of the legendary Gregg Allman!
Michael Allman is the 1st born son of Legendary Rock and Roll Hall of Fame member of the Allman Brothers, Gregg Allman. Michael’s bluesy soulful voice and look is very reminiscent of his father in his prime! Michael has shared the stage with many well-known artists through the years and continues to put smiles on the faces of his fans every time he gets on stage and starts belting out the sounds.
“Hard Labor Creek” - If Michael’s evocative singing was the only attraction on Michael Allman’s Hard Labor Creek, it would still be worth hearing, but there is a lot more going on than that. Some of the most gifted musicians in Georgia, from young slide guitar phenom Tony Tyler to Motown alumnus and keyboard legend Ike Stubblefield, contribute to the overall sound of this remarkable record. Tyler’s slide and keyboard work are an essential part of the sound of Hard Labor Creek, adding just the right touch without overpowering the song.
Stubblefield kicks serious butt here, showing why he is a first-call session player, and his production contribution is one reason this CD sounds so darn good. Soulful backing vocals by Atlanta local favorite Diane Durrett and percussion from Derek Trucks Band drummer Yonrico Scott flesh out the songs. The one and only Col. Bruce Hampton also makes a memorable cameo appearance. While Michael Allman’s Hard Labor Creek stands on its own merits, he isn’t ashamed of his heritage, and there are several references to his famous father. “Laid Back” written by Sonny Tackett, was inspired by Gregg’s classic album of the same name. “If Dreams Were Money” was actually written for Gregg years ago by veteran Boston musician Bruce Marshall.
Still, the spotlight is firmly on Michael, who wrote four of the songs on the CD, and delivers each tune with the kind of thoughtful approach that squeezes the inner meaning out of every word. The lyrics in songs like “Running Alone Again”, “It Ain’t Me” and “Circus Full of Clowns” address universal topics like love and loss in a way that any listener can relate to.
The Florida Blues Brothers! SW Florida's Favorites Returns This Year!
The Florida Blues Brothers are one of the hottest acts in the area! They generate energy and excitement everywhere they perform. Back to perform at the PODS Englewood Music Festival by popular demand, this dynamic duo will have everyone up, dancing and having a blast! Don't miss this show!!!
The 4th annual PODS Englewood Music Festival being held March 8th, 9th, and 10th at 1401 South River Road in Englewood has just signed 13 year old Cassidy Diana to perform at this year’s event. Cassidy has already graced some of South Florida's largest stages including The Funky Biscuit and McGuire's on Florida’s east coast. She has performed with national acts including David Shelley & Bluestone and Michael Sean Allman, son of the legendary Gregg Allman of The Allman Brothers Band. In fact, Michael Sean Allman has actually opened for her! Cassidy will make an appearance on Saturday just prior to the headliner with a performance of her single, “The Call” which she recorded with The Trace Adkins Band in Nashville, TN. It is a heartfelt ballad which speaks of the internal struggle that military children face when their parents are called away to duty. On one hand the pride they have for their heroism, on the other, the sadness and insecurity of the prospect that they are not sure when, or if, they will see them again. Then the uncertainty of how long they would be able to stay once they do return…
She will perform a full set of her original music including a repeat performance of "The Call" during Sunday afternoon's Boogie & Blues Fest.
She writes in genres of Southern Rock, Pop, and Country and enjoys writing love songs, performing on stage, and playing guitar. Her appearance at this year's PODS Englewood Music Festival will also coincide with her new CD release which she will perform live on the east coast at the beginning of the month at B.B. Kings Restaurant & Blues Club in West Palm Beach. Cassidy will be at the PODS Englewood Music Festival all weekend for photos and autographs. visit her at:
16 year old Mike Imbasciani to perform at this year's PODS Englewood Music Festival!
The festival is designed to showcase original artists and new talent. Mike Imbasciani is one such talent who seems gifted from birth with an ear for great music and the ability to play the guitar like he’s been doing it all his life, which he pretty much has. “I have been playing guitar since I was 5 years old. My inspirations were Bob Dylan, Eric Clapton, SRV, and Jimi Hendrix. I love classic 60’s rock, folk, blues. The blues seem to be part of me just waiting to get out every time I pick up a guitar”.
Mike started his career playing for the first time in public at the Punta Gorda Guitar Army at Gilchrist Park in Punta Gorda when he was 10 years old. In 2008 he started performing professionally at many local establishments. Since then he has expanded to include many festivals and venues around the state of Florida, Georgia and Tennessee. Last September Mike Imbasciani and his band “The Bluez Rockerz” appeared at BB King’s Blues Club in Nashville for an entire week. visit:www.mikeimbasciani.com.
