Saint Tone

Featuring – Tony Saint Tone

I have a real treat for all of us here in the SW PLEX  Saint Tone has agreed to play at The Englewood Music Festival on March 6th, 2010Tony Saint Tone (Tony Lavorgna) lives in the Tampa Bay Area, but performs at major events and festivals all over the country.  The band became part of history when they played at The Smithsonian Art Museum for The Lincoln 2.0 Inaugural Ball on Jan 18th, 2009.  They are also the official tailgate band for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, playing at all their home games this season!

Saint Tone's music is a mix of high-energy classic, melodic pop, with contemporary acoustic rock influences.  Singer / songwriter Tony Saint Tone is a full-time musician who has toured around the world and a natural on stage.  Writing positive, inspirational lyrics and universal subjects about relationships, Saint Tone connects with audiences easily.

With 12 releases to his name, Tony has just released his new 13 Song CD, “Saint Tone  - World Radio 13”.  "I'm very excited about this new CD. It has a lot of different influences from pop/rock to hip-hop and R & B. I love all styles of music and never allowed myself to put all the styles I like into one CD until now. The reaction I've been getting so far is very positive. Everyone who has heard the CD, (they) all find different songs that they like the best. I teamed up with engineer / producer Gray and we both are pushing the idea of blending different styles together to create a new sound."

Tony’s music pulls in elements from so many styles and genres, that it’s impossible to pinpoint a specific element that characterizes it.  While listening to some tracks on the website: www.sainttone.com, I felt like his music pulled those elements from many diverse influences such as; John Cougar Meloncamp, Genesis, Kool & The Gang, and even Godsmack.  In doing so, Tony has merged elements of various styles to create something unique, yet familiar, and lyrically very moving…  Great Stuff Tony!!!

The website is very informative and has a lot of content.  Visitors can listen to samples of tracks from the new album, see some pics from various shows, read lyrics from their tunes, and even check out some video clips, including the Lincoln Inaugural Ball performance.

I can’t wait to see them at The Englewood Music Festival March 6th, 2010!  Look  for The Saint Tone Band playing on the Main Stage during The Englewood Music Festival...  Hope to see you at the show…   Reserve your tickets here>>
